I bought this anchor because I was looking for a lighter stern anchor for my Oceanis 43. I've yet to try it but in theory it offers what I wanted with the holding power for a vessel of this size.
In 15 years of sailing experience I have never experienced anything so brilliant! The anchor simply holds in any terrain, am silt - over sand and grass, even in stony areas! With 50 knots of wind and metres high waves that drift into the bay, my 38ft Ketsch does not move a millimetre and I can sleep through the night relaxed!
